Growing up, Zach’s world revolved around team sports. Like most athletes, when competitive sports ended, Zach felt a void in his life that wouldn’t be filled until he found CrossFit. At the recommendation of a friend, Zach walked into his first CrossFit gym in 2014 and immediately knew this was not only going to be his preferred training style, but something he wanted to turn into a career. The comradery, physical challenges, support of coaches, and the lessons learned inside of the CrossFit gym were things that reminded Zach of the sports he played growing up, and kept him coming back day after day.

Zach turned his passion for health and fitness into a career in 2017, becoming CrossFit Level 1-and ultimately Level 2- certified.

Coming from the behavioral health field, Zach brings a personal touch to his coaching, and wants to help people succeed not only inside the gym, but in their everyday life as well. Zach believes in the philosophy of training for “deep health”, which involves thriving in all aspects of life- physical, mental, emotional, social, etc.

What Zach loves the most about CrossFit is the welcoming and supporting nature of the community. Whether you are a high school student, grandparent, professional athlete, or couch surfer, anyone is welcome, and everyone is capable!
